Metis checks its environment in the browser, but confirming these essentials first makes installation straightforward.

curl -fL https://update.hellometis.online/latest -o metis-latest.zipThe Metis root directory contains index.php, the front controller used for application routes.
With no install lock present, Metis opens the installer and begins with system prechecks.
Metis creates configuration and tables, enables protections, installs selected modules, writes the install lock, and redirects to /admin/.
The application resolves routes inside its front controller. The server passes non-file, non-directory requests to index.php and denies direct access to private application data.
The repository .htaccess provides the front-controller fallback and deny rules.
Apply equivalent fallback and protection rules in the server configuration.
